ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN

A resident of Seamount Quay has reported that, sometime over the weekend, either Friday or Saturday night, an attempt was made to enter their home via the garage. It only became evident on Sunday when the resident could not open the garage and discovered that it had been hit with some force and is now buckled and inoperable. The home owners were home all weekend but did not hear anything. Fortunately the perpetrators were unsuccessful on this occasion. The incident has been reported to the police. There is also yet another bank scam. This time it is an email scam supposedly from Westpac. The email looks genuine but once again is asking to click on a link. Your bank will never ask you to do this. Accounts should only ever be accessed using your established security codes.
