Incident Report #120

Doorbell Ringing

This afternoon, residents of The Anchorage had an experience that unnerved them. Their doorbell rang twice and when investigated there was no one there. They went out and found 2 teenagers, a boy and a girl, run from their side gate up the street towards Shorehaven. One of the residents of the property followed and several neighbours came out to see who had also rung their doorbells. One of the neighbours also found the two at the side of their property. When confronted the girl tried to hide, the boy stood his ground and said it was a "knock and run" game. They were not concerned when the residents said they would call the police and in fact said - "What are they going to do?" Video and still photos have been taken of these two teenagers. Incidents that disturb should be reported to the police even if there seems to be little that can be done particularly if photographic evidence is available. Noosa Waters Neighbourhood Watch
