Police update for 2022 AGM

Between the 01/11/2021 and 19/10/2022 the Noosa Waters Neighbourhood Watch Precinct (NHW Noosa Heads 07 on QPRIME) there were 55 criminal offences reported. See below table for numbers of offences.

This is all the offences relating to your search parameter.  You will notice the drink drivers, not all residents, but offenders were caught on Noosa Waters streets (some could be residents).

The main concern is the Burglary and stolen vehicles.  These relate to the juvenile gangs that attend the Sunshine Coast often from South Brisbane, Ipswich or Caboolture in stolen vehicles and find homes not secured which are an easy target to break in then steal keys to the often high-end vehicles.    Home security is a must, ensure homes are locked correctly at night and not keep car keys visible or more importantly not left in the ignition.   Security CCTV, sensor lighting, efficient locks will assist.
