Once you’ve done your home security assessment, make the suggested physical changes to your property now, where possible. Ensure everyone in the home is aware of what’s been done and why, and discuss what daily habits you can change that will help keep your home secure. Make a list of additional changes that should be checked periodically, set reminders for regular tasks, and note down anything you cannot implement right away and create a plan for how and when you can achieve those changes around the home.
